Nubuck leather
Characteristic of nubuck leather is its soft, velvety surface. In shoe production, nubuck leather is mainly made from fine calf or cowhides. By sanding the smooth grain side (upper side of the animal skin), a delicate structure with partially recognizable grain patterns is created, which is why it belongs to suede. Thanks to the increased breathability and the water-repellent, robust structure, nubuck leather shoes are very popular.
